Spitfire Bourbon, a newly minted distillery product poised to hit the shelves in select retailers, required a stand-out label to catch the eye of the seasoned collector.

Spitfire Bourbon pays homage to the long history of distillery development going back to pre-WWII the label aligned itself with the persona of it’s founder, who was a aviation mechanic in Britain during the war, working mostly on Rolls-Royce Merlin engines–the workhorse behind the famous Spitfire fighter.

A toast to the Battle of Britain

The design features a scene from the peak of the 1940 Battle of Britain. The Spitfire roars through the clouds as its fellow pilots parachute down, toasting to their hard-earned victory.

The bourbon itself hits the palate like a daring dive through the clouds—quick, sharp, and full of character. It opens with an assertive blast of caramelized oak and dark toffee, commanding your attention much like the exhilarating experience behind a Spitfire engine.
