Marque Collection Suites is a luxury accommodation concept that offers high-end suites, typically catering to discerning collectors of sports cars and other high-value assets. MCS blends comfort, style, and exclusive services beyond basic storage.

The Challenge

The brand project for MCS started with a renaming from its previous “Pinnacle Motor Club”. Possible name concepts were explored along the theme of high value cars, Formula 1 terms, and popular slangs belonging to particular sports car fans. The result was a new name, a logo the reflected the appropriate grandeur of a first-of-its-kind space for NWA.

The Brand Process

After name selection, the look and feel of the brand was guided by many luxury fashion and sportswear brands that developed a custom logotype. No icon was necessarily needed. Only the stylized word “MARQUE”. That type style was taken through a few paces on the best look for a collector’s club. Something that felt like it belonged to sports car enthusiasts but not exclusive to it. Afterall, MCS is designed to house many types of collections.

Initial Concepts

Some logo concepts involved a coincidental “mark” for use on social or other applications like apparel. But it wasn’t considered a necessity. All typography was custom. No fonts were used throughout the logo ideation or final creation.

In the final round, a series of elegant options remained, each with a potential mark to be used. The final cut came down to a balance of readability in x weights on the type and the iconic “M” mark for more subtle branding.

The Sales Book

In the final phase of work, a 26 page sales book was designed and printed, showcasing the many facets of membership with Marque Collection Suites. All layouts were perfect bound in a thick matte black cover with a red stamped logo on the front.
